Transco and ERC Readings

Mr. Nick Nichols of Navigant Consulting, Inc at this link has some interesting pieces on ERC, Transco etc. Check out his weblog and professional resume to find out more on what he does. We have been getting bits and pieces of 'free' valuable advice from this gentleman on power energy issues in Catanduanes. We need to tap expertise such as his and others, that way we don't have to re-invent the wheel and waste time and money. The Philippines is new in the field of privatization of the power industry. A lot of the local players are either inexperienced and some might even be motivated to commit corruption in the privatization process. I see early signs that indicate that the true reason behind this privatization which is to improve the economy is going to get derailed because once again corruption is becoming part of the process. So the more outside help we can get the better. I have seen papers showing that Japan is also helping Transco and ERC with its early efforts at privatization.

Teamwork and Cooperation Round Two

Please read a new piece at www.globalcatandunganon.blogspot.com with the same title as above. It is a fund raising designed to assist the initiative spearheaded by Virac Councilor Honorable Giovanni Balmadrid and his group. The long range goal is to install as many water pumps in as many villages on the island so our village folks will have access to clean , safe and healthy water for drinking and other uses.

Feedback

There has been a few feedbacks reaching me concerning the older articles in this weblog. And that is, they are too long and too much to digest at one sitting. I apologize for that inconvenience and oversight so we will tailor our future articles so that they are shorter and will not strain our aging eyes. I have forgotten that we are older. So, we should see shorter articles in the future.

Let me remind new readers to still try to read the older articles starting from the bottom up so at least this weblog will make sense to you.

There are a lot of good reading on the 'google news' link. I will try to add links to the blog as soon as I get some html knowledge. Well, let me try it here..... www.monster.com
Well, that wasn't hard. The creators of this blog are my heroes. I found out that there is an icon for creating links especially designed....well... for html dummies...
By the way, monster.com is a great way to publish your resume for free or look for job positions. Just sign up and go.

Oopsss. This here article is getting bigger so I got to run lest you get bored reading. So, adios and keep up the great fight... the great fight against hunger, against poverty.
